Redlands eAcademy is a pioneering K-12 Blended Learning School, serving students from across the Inland Empire. Update on District Monitoring of the Line Fire in Highland

Dear RUSD Families and Staff,

Due to the ongoing fire situation and evacuation warnings in East Highland, as well as the Unhealthy/Hazardous Air Quality in the region, ALL Redlands Unified School District schools and facilities will be closed for students and staff on Monday, September 9.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the families and community members who have been affected directly by the Line Fire. We understand how challenging this time is for our students, families and staff. Please know that the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, as we continue to monitor the situation closely with local emergency services.

Families and staff will be notified by 4pm on Monday if the closure will be extended the following day.

Updates regarding the rest of the week will be shared as we receive more information. Please ensure your contact details are up to date in Aeries to receive important notifications. Additionally, any information regarding the making up of school days due to closures will be shared as soon as it is available, if needed.
